It’s good to see this site up and running, and one day I’ll take a trip up country to throw on your range. But…

Is it necessary to have a dark background with white text?
I’m well aware that plain white can make the screen glare at people, but a light background, maybe a 10% grey with dark – preferably black – type really is much easier to read.

My eyesight isn’t that bad, I can usually get a knife within half an inch of where I intended it to go at half spin distances , but I can’t help feeling many possible older members might be deterred by the dark background.

It’s your site and you have every right to do as you wish, but my suggestion may be worthy of your consideration.
