Brilliant John, glad you guy’s had such a great time and the weather cooperated I really wish I could have been there but I’m home grinding away at steel!

Cogratulations to all the winners and participants, I’m sure everyone was in high spirits being around the Man Of Steel and throwing all sorts of crazy things!!!

Not at all – you can find them for sale on some quite reputable websites. I wouldn’t recommend the smaller (less than 12 inches/30cm) knives as these tend to be cheaply made and awful (and dangerous) to throw – but decent throwing Bowies and the knives from Cold Steel (see Links page) are excellent. Or just make some yourself out of flat bar mild steel: 30cm long, 4-5cm wide, 4 or 5mm thick – cut a point into one end and you have a perfectly seviceable throwing knife.

Well Done Rich, John did mention your achievements when me and Mikey were up at the club the other week. Hope to see you again at the club soon.

Very many congratulations to Richard on his World Record score.
As is often the case, and I say this with humility, the teacher is now being taught by his student.
Great score, Rich. That will take some beating . I’m not sure if you worked out your average per knife but it is 4.366 and the maximum is 5.
Thanks for the comment about my Hawks Second place. I don’t know where I found my game from with them but they definitely like me.

Hi Tom and Jules – was actually me (Rich) that got number one ranking – shoulda made that a bit clearer! I didn’t do as well in the actual Championships – 4th in knives, 4th in hawks. John did very well though, he came 2nd in the World Championship Tomahawk Throwing!
