Just read this to learn a little more about the UK Laws on Knives and Tomohawks. I've just started my 2nd Year of GCSE Law, so that makes me 16 years old, and I've been interested recently in purchasing Throwing Knives and Tomohawks for recreational usage, but I find it unfortunate that the Lawsin this Country restrict laws on a wonderful sport/activity played by many because of the arrogance of few. It's similar to the Laws on firearms in this Country induced 20, 30 years ago. Rifle and Pistol Shooting was becoming a very real sport, until within a short space of time 2 people with health problems went on shooting sprees in their towns, and people like my father we're left without an ecstatic sport because of a few. Atleast with Throwing Knives and Tomohawks we can still own them, but not use at any real locations par our homes. Let's just hope it doesn't get any worse.
Atleast we're allowed our 3" Folding Knives ;)

Not at all - you can find them for sale on some quite reputable websites. I wouldn't recommend the smaller (less than 12 inches/30cm) knives as these tend to be cheaply made and awful (and dangerous) to throw - but decent throwing Bowies and the knives from Cold Steel (see Links page) are excellent. Or just make some yourself out of flat bar mild steel: 30cm long, 4-5cm wide, 4 or 5mm thick - cut a point into one end and you have a perfectly seviceable throwing knife.

Well Done Rich, John did mention your achievements when me and Mikey were up at the club the other week. Hope to see you again at the club soon.

And Well done John on his Hawks. Good to see the UK making excellent representation in the World Knife Throwing arena.

Very many congratulations to Richard on his World Record score.
As is often the case, and I say this with humility, the teacher is now being taught by his student.
Great score, Rich. That will take some beating . I'm not sure if you worked out your average per knife but it is 4.366 and the maximum is 5.
Thanks for the comment about my Hawks Second place. I don't know where I found my game from with them but they definitely like me.
