I always enjoyed target sports since I was a kid. I first did axe throwing at a have a go at a taster session with archery and clay pigeon shooting late 2017. This got me looking more into what was around and found the Pontefract KATTA range. My first visit to Ponte to see John was in Feb 2018 and was hooked straight away. I had my own setup built at home a couple of months later and continued to hassle John at Pontefract. Due to a need to make the Dual cup event easier to score I built the Holmgang Dual Cup timer. It is able to track the difference in times down to 0.001 seconds.
